Right now im trying to figure out how to connect to my friend in the game. We are using hamachi im not sure how much that of an issue for it not working but it doesnt seem like i can connect to my friend and i've looked through google to find a fix and i didnt find anything

Have you tried on your local network setup with 2 pc's running the games?
I have RainbowSixMP.exe from the retail CD(might not be needed), and am starting to test a local network game by clicking Multiplayer...
in the next menu there is a button to set server options in the middle right.

Some Options: Internet/LAN Firewall: on/off
