If anyone have any trouble getting EW to work I thought I'll share how I got it to work with the GOG-version of the original R6. Starting the RainbowSixMP.exe you'll probably get an error message and If you look in the file Sherman.log usually this is the error code:

Selecting sound device Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)
driver is {0.0.0.00000000}.{f5cb80e2-a62e-4173-84ca-3719d6b58f4d}
VOICECOMPRESSION: Could not find an appropriate Voxware CODEC
Rainbow Six was not able to initialize the Voxware voice compression
engine; make sure Rainbow Six is correctly installed on your machine
Displaying fatal message box with the following message:
Could not launch due to an internal error; try rebooting your machine or reinstalling Rainbow Six.

If you also have a line that says Sherman.kmp missing, don't worry. First please backup the GOG-folder(includes your save and plans for the original game for example). What you want to do is simply just copy everything in the Eagle Watch-folder to the GOG Rainbow Six-folder and replace everything that it asks for. This folder includes the Sherman.kmp with keybinds aswell. Now you should be able to run the game starting RainbowSixMP.exe.

Now this is an extremely easy solution and Im feeling really stupid to even share it, but the thing is I actually didnt find any information about this. It's also a fast solution, I didn't find exacly what file that was needed. The Sherman.inf in the GOG-folder also reports the exact same, something about the Voxware CODEC thing, but that game runs perfectly.

Anyway hope it works guys.

Just a note... in the original version (ie, the CD installation) of Eagle Watch, there IS NO EAGLE WATCH DIRECTORY. So this won't work. And there has never, as far as I know, been another "official release" of Eagle Watch.

Are you talking about the "mod" version of Eagle Watch fans made to run under the Urban Operations expansion to Rogue Spear?
