I own the original Rainbow Six on PC in Retail. But the game is laggy and has a very low fps on windows 8.1.
May I know if the GOG version is ok now?

i also got the same question. i bought the retail version but runs very slow(around 10 fps) and i got a 2011 computer would like to know if anyone else has gone through this

I have Win 8.1 and a pretty low spec machine (Intel HD) and I have had no problems with the frame rate. The game seems to run just fine.

I would still advise caution with this one though. It might be best to look through these forums before buying because this release has some problems of its own i.e. invisible hostages on first mission at the very least, if played above easy. I'm actually on these forums right now to check if there are any new workarounds for these problems.

To sum up, it should work (don't quote me on that :P ), but may need tweaking.

Grab Raven Shield instead it runs well.
