Weregames are dangerous. But chances are, the publisher isn't sending beta builds, or they're on a delay. What you'll want to do is wait a few days, and see if it shows up.

Beta 1.7 was online on steam for about 2 months. and its to bad that gog users don't get the betas.

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Really depends if the dev is willing to roll them out.
