Does anyone remember the unique intro that came with Railroad Tycoon II: Second Century expansion pack? I've looked through the game's files in the GOG release, as well as on the web, but cannot seem to find anything. I wouldn't mind watching this again, for I haven't seen it for over 15 years. Any help finding this would be greatly appreciated.

I think that only played when you installed the Original Addon pack over RT2.

I had both the paperboxes, got them as a christmas gift from my Father.
I think there was a problem with mine so I rarely played it.

Sadly I sold them a few years afterwards, after the Platinum version had come out and that worked.
The Platinum never had that video sadly.

Loved the new Scenarios, especially the Alaska ones, the only main problem was the dearth of Electrics availlable in the US after the 1950s.

GG-1s ftw!

I just checked the files and the Intro file isn't there, they are smacker files so you need either the RAD Game Tools, which also include Bink files or use SMplayer (Mplayer frontend) with the k-Lite Codec Pack to play them.
Guys, I think I might have what you're after.

This is the intro file I found on disc of RRT2: TSC stand-alone realease I bought over 15 years ago (originally it was a covermount in a gaming magazine). I had it converted to a modern format so it's easier to enjoy.

If, anyway, you're still looking for something else, let me know.

Hey all, sorry I took so long to reply, but that's exactly what I'm looking for! Many thanks for that!

You're welcome. I was about to actually sell this CD, as my copy of The Second Century is barely a magazine covermount and I also own boxed Platinum Edition, but considering it has at least this one delicacy the later does not, I decided to keep it on my shelf ;)
