I know GOG says it is compatible with win 10 but it's not always true.

Can someone confirm it works on Win 10?

The disc version does, FWIW, so there's no reason GOG's one shouldn't.

Yes it works on windows 10 very well.

I never had Win10, but I'm running the game inside of Wine on Linux, and it works perfectly.

I just wanna point that this game can also run inside an app called DxWnd, so you have more control over framerate, CPU usage, brightness, things like that. In case you have problems running older games on Win10, always try DxWnd since it's primarily a wrapper for older versions of directx and translating them to a language modern devices can understand.
