Hello,

I have following problem in this great game, after 150+ issue-free hrs of play:

My cat jumped on the keyboard while playing and somehow the green grid lines on the map have permanently been locked to ON. I had tested them before and I am 100% sure they could be turned on and off as they are supposed to do. From the game options I can successfully change the status of other parameters, like borders, bit-depth etc, but the Grid Lines are always ON regardless of their checkbox. “G” shortcut does not work as well. This happens both in Scenarios and Campaign maps, saved and new games.

From the game installation folder I tried the different executables, without success, so I would like to ask for any tips, eg is there any command I can add in the executable to force grid lines off, or any .ini. to change? Else I assume re-installing is the way, because the game is unplayable with the grid constantly on.

Thanks for your time

I have the same problem after a dozen or so hours of play. Toggling 'grid lines' under settings has no effect.
Update: For PC, press 'cntrl-p'. For some reason it doesn't toggle the check box in RR 2 Platinum settings. I have to use my keyboard hotkey combo. Cheers!

Go to the RR2 control panel tab says graphics and click grid lines
