So Raiden Legacy just came out on Steam with a bunch of fixes. Are we going to be getting these updates as well or are we going to be stuck with the phone UI and ancient emulator forever?

So, it's 2024/12/27 and the answer is ... we are still stuck with:

- phone UI
- on Windows, UI freezes for several seconds after every button click (strangely, it does not freeze on Mac...)
- in game score table does not retain entries
- scores are not across sessions (either)
- in game music and sound are a glitch fest with plenty of music loops left looping when the game states changes

So, I guess, that's a "yup, we are stuck with this".

This said, tomorrow, I will write an official bug report to DotEmu, asking if they can release the steam version to Gog, we'll see... Maybe after the success of SoR4 they'll be wishing to invest a bit of time to press "compile" and send a new build to GOG.
