Maybe i am missing something, but how to convince the game to start player 2? I have hit all buttons on my keyboard back and forth and nothing happens. It writes still: P2 No Entry to the screen.

I think its a mode you choose before starting the game. There are multiple game type options before you start the game.

That was not quite the question. Second try.

I can choose the mode, but i am not able to configure any input key mapping for player 2, nor can i press “start” for player 2.
So what is the trick? Or is it just “broken”?

Have both controllers plugged in before starting the game.

Press a button on controller 2 to start the menu.

Go to options, controllers.

Controller 2 will be player 1 when you config the game to controller. Press a button on Controller 1 to config it after setting controller 2 up.

Now you should be able to play 2 player.

That's how I got it to work.

So it needs to be a dedicated controller? Somehow the playstation transition went on too literally.

I think I'm having the same issue. Is there any way for 2 players to get configured on the same keyboard?
I don't seem to be able to configure for player 2.
