I'm sooo glad it does now. I'll finally be able to make a Hard Playthrough.
But anyone knows about the Alternate Solutions? I mean I remember there was this guy wanting an escort, and during that mission you meet the druids the first time, and if you kill the traveler (who is some evil henchman) you get access to the elf-druid city. But what'd happen if you'd dispose the druids instead?
---------------
I took some points from "body" to gain more speed, and some "spirit" to make my character learn faster.

At the shop I bought an 5-11, 6 range earth staff. Semi-early there's a quest where some Earth-skill is needed, and wands are the only way to autocast offensive spells.
After disposing the random animals killed the ogre (slight chance for magical club, good chance for money, chance for nothing).

The main point is of course the troll. Your skills can be trained up on it quit a lot, especially if you let it heal at times. Either way it'll take long to kill it. Do NOT try to attack Hydun (questor troll), that's suicide even on Easy.
The trick is, that trolls regenerate really fast, so leaving it alone for like 2 minutes lets you evolve your skills higher. For my mage after 30 water (tagged) and 20 earth I could only gain 1 skillpoint before killing the young troll, so I trained no further (you can get ca. 600-900 gold from the body, plus the quest reward).

Nothing left, so get to the mage. He'll give a video, and bring you to "mission 2" without a chance to visit a city.

Here turns out if you only have earth attack, you're screwed. The nearby ghosts are immun to that element.

The place is pretty busy. There is an ogre here (attack it from the right so the local knights don't steal your exp)

some zombies here (use hit&run on them, else either the knights kill them or the villagers get massacred)

and a stronghold of bandits here (2 footsoldier, 3 archer, 1 boss. Use hit&run, concentrate on the support units. If you don't want to bother, lead them to the knights)
