Hey,

Just bought the game, loved it back in the day! Sadly Im having lag-problems with gog edition. Movement and commands are really sticky, it's like playing an online game with 300ping. MAkes microing almost impossible and therefore pretty much unplayable. Tried every option on and off with no help. Any suggestions?

thanks

Which of the three games? Rage of Mages, Rage of Mages 2 or Evil Islands?
hey, rage of mages

edit: not rage of games (yet :D)

That's unfortunately the only of the 3 games I haven't played yet, thus cannot comment on whether that's normal or not :/ If no one else has any ideas, I'd suggest contacting support about it.
Forced the cpu to use one core only, it helped.
Does the scroll speed still move like crazy on newer CPUs? The original CD version I have has that issue, I wonder the issue you're having is actually the patch stopping that happening.

But as a person who has played the game on every system up to Win7 64-bit, I can tell you there's no issue with lag in the original version.
