Hi all,

We've uploaded new installers for Race the Sun that will update your game to version 1.42. Please download either the Mac or Windows installer to get the latest and greatest version of the game :)

Changelog:

- Brand new, completely redesigned UI. Designed to work better with
controllers, Keyboard, and Mouse navigation
- TONS of bug fixes across the UI and game
- Re-enabled user world portals
- Lots of optimizations to the world generation. Should run smoother on
older PCs!

Fixes:
- Fixed UI for French players (Sorry!)
- fixed portal world bugs
- Fixed most of the issues with editor world browser, and editor itself
- hopefully fixed issues with options screen not saving your settings

Major Known issues remaining:
- Robotoki decal doesn't unlock properly
- Unsubscribing/deleting mods doesn't refresh screen properly
- resolution isn't always properly detected in options screen
- Not all menus can be navigated using Brass Monkey
- Controller navigation in Options menu broken

Unknown:
- Tri collision is sometimes inconsistent. Let us know if you see issues!

Thanks and have a nice day :)
Thanks!

I think I'll stay on my copy of v1.10 from Humble Bundle Inc. for now. Whether it's the GOG Linux version or the Humble Bundle Linux version, v1.42 doesn't seem to read my saved achievements from v1.10,
Thank you very much for the Linux Version!

Race the Sun didn't run under Wine here, now I can finally enjoy the game. And its awesome :)

Maybe it's due to the version change? I presume a lot has been changed between 1.10 and 1.42. Just thinking out loud, of course :)

Given that the problem is present in both the GOG and Humble versions, I'd be surprised if it was a GOG issue.

My suspicion is that my "keep account keys unredeemed until I actually feel a need for them" policy is to blame. I always play RTS in offline mode and, if achievements are cloud-sync'd, they might be using that to handle inter-version achievement migration.

(Still, re-achieving wouldn't be such an issue if they didn't constrain you to the three displayed achievements within a given run.)
