Hey Folks - Version 1.1 is coming soon - we're beta testing it now, and putting on final touches. In addition to fixing bugs and tightening up certain sequences and puzzles, there's a few more areas to explore.

A full list of changes will be published when it's released as well.

The only downside to this is that all old saves of Quest For Infamy won't be compatible with version 1.1

I am going to try and set up a system, however, where you can send me a save of your current game and I would be able to create you a comparable and compatible save. I know some people have put a lot of time into the game, and I'd like to be able to help out however I can.

I'd also like to thank everyone who has purchased the game here - supporting an independent game developer can be a risk, and to those who took the risk, enjoyed it and shared that enthusiasm, it means the world to people like us. We tried our best to create a game that we would like to play ourselves, and my only wish is that you enjoy yourself.

To those who are celebrating this season, happy holidays! Our best wishes to you and yours.

Thank you for the heads up! I just bought it and didn't too far into it. I'm really liking it so far so I'm definitely looking forward to the update!

Also, I thank you very much for deciding to support Linux. :)
Thanks for the update, Blackthorne519! I also picked up this game recently and I am certainly looking forward to the exciting changes and additions you spoke about.

As far as supporting indie developers goes, it is the kindness and outreach like this that motivates me to support teams like yours. Just posting here would be enough, but also going to the extra lengths you are willing to go to in order to preserve people's save files is a type of commitment to your customer base that is rarely seen in "A-Grade" publishers. Thanks for keeping your customers at the forefront.

And a happy holidays to you as well!
Thanks guys!

Supporting linux was really a no-brainer. I've several friends who are enthusiasts, and I often find linux gamers are ardently loyal, and very enthusiastic - which is awesome.

And thanks for the thoughts on outreach and customer support; this is something I personally like very much, and I think it's a mark that separates independent groups like ours apart. Games aren't just a product to create and sell; they're entertainment and that breeds community and being a part of that is part of the experience. I'm lucky to be a developer, and I'm lucky to be able to interact with amazing people from all over the world.

Best to you!
