Hi, I've just bought QFI and started my first game. So I watched the execution, went to the forest right next to Volksville and killed some monsters but now I can't go back to the village! There are 2 canoes blocking the way when I click on the bottom of the screen (see screenshot). Is this a bug or am I missing something? :(

Seems to be a bug if you can't get around these boats. What happens if you leave the screen and re-enter it? Restarted the game?

Yep, I tried re-entering the screen but it didn't work. I also tried reloading to a previous state, it didn't work either.

Are there many known bugs in QIF? I have really enjoyed playing it so far but I wouldn't want to start again only to stumble across another game-breaking bug :(

That's really strange, especially if earlier savegames don't work as well... So to understand you correctly: You cannot get to the lower part of the screen, where the transition to the next screen would be, because there is a invisible barrier stretching from the boats across the path?
Personally, I only had one very minor issue with the game (I've played for about five hours now), I don't think it's extremely buggy.
I've heard that Blackthorne, the nice guy from Infamous Quests, has sent in a new version of the game to GOG. It should arrive soon I hope.

And it looks like we solved this one!! Addressed it through email; basically, sometimes when the hotspot indicator is on (pressing space bar toggles it) it can act as an invisible object, so you click and nothing happens. If you ever try to walk south, but you're clicking and nothing happens, try turning it on and off, or using the arrow keys to move. That should help anyone else who might run into this.
