Hi there,

I'm playing the sorcerer and I'm stuck. Therefore I looked in the walkthrough. It seems, I should give pipe and tobbaco to the Gnoll. I can't do that, it isn't working. I know that a few days earlier I did it by trial and error, the Gnoll smoked, but nothing happened. I had not spoken about the diary to Hummel then. Maybe that's the issue. Any ideas?

The gnoll in the cave behind the waterfall. I play also as sorcerer and I talked to him first and then cast the spell "Inner Fear". He then gave me the piece of the crest.

You have to speak to Hummel about the diary first before you can get any of the crest pieces. Also if you're a sorcerer, you should use the Fear spell to get him to give the crest to you. The sorcerer should not waste money on tobacco or a pipe.

But before all this, use the Fear spell on the gnoll even before speaking to Hummel about the diary. He'll give you 500 blys
