I'm playing on 2 PCs under windows 7. I've looked in the GfG folders for both game 1 and 2 and nothing ever shows up. We're talking any of the save files, but Particularly the export file. I told the game to save it to the C drive, but nothing ever shows. What am I doing wrong?

Take a look here. You probably have to look in the VirtualStore folder, more instructions in the thread linked. Tell me if you encounter any other problems, and I'll do my best to help you find your character.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunetly, I already saw that post and and can't find any folder labled SCUMM.

Ah, ScummVM. Haven't used it, thus I've no idea of where/how it saves the characters :(
In theory, you should be able to see the exported characters automatically, else look for a file qfg1-{name}.sav, where {name} is how you saved the file. Hopefully, someone with more experience with ScummVM will be able to help you, so I can also update the FAQ with the correct ScummVM information.

I just saw an email from GOG. It would appear you have to run as administrator. It seems to work.

I've been able to find the character file by searching the entire C drive for the file name. I then cut and paste it into the appropriate game directory.
