I am getting constant flickering graphics when I try to run #5. It is pretty much unplayable. Any idea on how to fix this? Thanks in advance!

Try disabling visual themes or desktop composition, that usually does the trick. You can do that by right clicking the shortcut and selecting properties and then the compatibility tab

did you try alt tabbing out of the game and back into it? I've been doing that today to get the mouse cursors to show up right. I'm not having any issues with a nvidia graphics card in windows 7 x64, BUT i'm also playing a retail version with fan patches which I believe is the same as what GOG is selling. Try windowed mode as well and see if that helps.

Do you happen to two gpus on your system? I have 2 ATI 5870, and when I have crossfire activated I get flickering. When I deactivate crossfire in Catalyst control center, and then start the game I have no flickering at all.
If you happen to have nvidia cards then you simply deactivate SLI in the nvidia control center.
I have encountered this issue in many older games when playing with 2 gpus and this has solved any problems I have had with flickering.

I am running Crossfire. Might have to try that. Tabing out was a no-go. How can you get it into window mode? I could not find a cofig file to edit.
