So I've been playing the Quest For Glory series ever since the first one was still called Hero's Quest back in the day. I usually play the EGA version of QFG1 because I'm lazy like that, but from time to time I like to play the VGA version as well. Anyway I decided to play through the series again with a paladin character and play the VGA version of QFG1 but I'm stuck at what seems to be a bug. After you dance for the fairies you are supposed to ask for fairy dust but whenever I click the mouth icon on myself it goes through the mumble mumble thing and when I try to click on the area around where the fairies fly around your body it doesn't seem to register I'm clicking on fairies. Is there a way to get them to give you the dust that I just don't remember or is this really a bug?

This is how it should work:

Check if it's any different from what happens in your game.

Thanks for answering! I watched the video and that is exactly what I'd been trying to do that wasn't working. I did, however, just go back to the game, left the fairy ring and returned to dance for a third time. This time when I tried to talk to the fairies it worked right away. I recall having this problem with the GOG version of the game before and resolving it the same way, so if anyone else is having a problem with the VGA version of QFG 1 in the fairy ring just dance for them three times. It seems to work.
Good to hear. Thanks for the feedback lgladwill.
