I just started QFG5 after working my way through the others with the same character. Didn't have any graphical problems with the other games, but as soon as this one starts I get a black screen. I can hear sound but no visuals. The menu comes up, which I can see fine. If I hit the introduction button, again I can hear the narration but all I get is a black screen. Playing the actual game is fine - just seems to be a problem with the cutscenes.

Any ideas?

Also, this appears to be the only QFG in the series that doesn't have a "graphic mode setup" in the start menu folder for it. Or is that just me?

EDIT: Okay, I've worked out I can copy the graphic mode setup from one of the others and change the target to "C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Quest for Glory Pack\Graphic mode setup.exe" GOGQUESTFORGLORY5, but trying all the different graphics mode doesn't get past the black screen problem.

My NVIDIA control panel popped up today with a message that there were new drivers released. I installed the new drivers and now the cutscenes play correctly.

This is a bug when playing the game under WINE. does anybody know if they used WINE to get this game running?
