I've been playing through QFG4 and have been fiddling with the difficulty setting. However, I must've done something strange, since now my keystrokes will no longer control my character in battle; I can only adjust his AI's settings to make him fight automatically. Is there any way to turn this feature off? The manual says the AI only takes control on lower difficulties when you're not providing input, but I've tried using the combat keys on all difficulty levels to no avail. Is there something about the automatic combat system that I'm not understanding?

You can also toggle auto-fighting in the battles by clicking on one of the icons.
