I couldn't find this posted anywhere on this site or google search, but in the Thieves Guild in Mordavia, there are two wall safes which state that you get daggers, a health potion and gold crowns in one, and daggers, a poison cure and gold crowns in the other. In my game I received the daggers and potions, but no gold crowns in either safe. The game told me a received the crowns, but my money pouch doesn't update with the money. Went back to a previous save and same result occurred.

Has anyone else ran in to this or just me? Anyone have any idea's for a fix or should I just not worry about it? Pretty early in the game so funds are pretty scarce, but if there is nothing I can do then I will just move on.

Thanks,

Perhaps it depends on which class you are playing specifically? Would a 'hybrid' character mess it up?

Otherwise there are alternative ways to get money (lots of enemies drop money).

Those safes have daily supply of daggers IIRC, so you can go there to get more.

I am a Thief class, but I do have all the skills with this character so perhaps it didn't read correctly due to the hybrid... Don't know. As I said, not a huge deal, just did not see it reported anywhere so figured I would post.
Thanks again,

Also, the safes don't refresh, but the desk in the Thieves Guild does. Game even say's it's peculiar as you could have sworn you already took everything. :)

Ya, I remembered something there had a refreshing source of daggers.

It's because there's no dagger merchant in the game, so they had to do something to support the class for whom throwing daggers are of primary importance.

I wouldn't worry too much about missing out on crowns. There just aren't that many places to spend money in the game, and nothing particularly expensive. There's the inn, the general store, and the fortune teller. Unless you want to inexplicably start a pie pan collection, there's really nothing to spend your money on in the first place. The coins you collect at the start of the game are actually more than sufficient to pay for everything you will ever need to win.

To top it off, money doesn't import from QFG4 to QFG5. If you're a thief, crack the safe to earn points. For any other class, it really doesn't matter.
