So, I've talked to Salim about the Dispel Potion. I've gathered all the ingredients except for the honeybird feather. The Simbani have already captured the Leopardman, but for the life of me, I can't get the accursed honeybird feather. I know the honeybird encounter happens along the right edge of the first savanna screen or the left edge of the second, but I've been trolling up and down both sides for about sixteen days worth of game-time, and no honeybird.

When I played this game before (ages and ages ago) I remember getting the feather. Am I doing something wrong here?
