mrprmiller: This is good advice for real life, too.

Green_Hilltop: Actually fencing is all about parrying and evading, so unless you're making an innuendo, no, it's very bad.
I'd be a little surprised about a pastor making innuendo, but only a little.

Regardless, I've found that parrying just doesn't seem to be an effective maneuver in QFG1 or QFG1VGA for the Weapon Master fight. Any progress you would avoid losing by parrying is mitigated by the fact that you're not gaining progress either - and you have a hard action limit based on how much stamina you have. On the other hand, if you're constantly thrusting, you're most likely gaining more progress than you're losing.
Lololol!! No innuendo was implied; just a combat remark! I'm quitting this conversation before I dig myself into a pastor-sized hole I can't get out from. Lol

Don't worry, blundering into sexual innuendos is humanity's natural condition XD
Whoops...just beat him. (But I had to use slash.)

I found an easy solution. You need to remove items from your inventory because you need to be light when you go to fight.

I removed armor and money and win the battle. If I don't remove the items, it is hard to win that fighter.
New technique: Just watched the weapon's master fight for a twitch stream, the key pad for what ever reason responded slower then using the mouse clicks as long as you, could click on the commands.

So, if you have trouble with this fight, at even high stats, give it a try with the "mouse", it may be better.
