Did you ask the healer about the cheetaur claws? If I recall correctly, you cannot collect ingredients from monsters in the remake of Quest For Glory I before the healer told you about them. The same thing happens in the fan remake of Quest For Glory II.

I haven't played in a while, but I remember you have to use your sword/dagger on the troll corpse to get the troll beard. I think that's also what you do for the claws, but again my memory is fuzzy.

Nope, you just have to use the hand icon on both the troll and the cheetaur to get their beard and claws.

But yes, you do need to have asked the Healer about them first.
