When you encounter the pizza elemental there are two choices: trick it or fight it. I've been trying over 3 hours to fight it and have now given up. So I'm going to trick it. My question is, would tricking it make you non-eligible to become a paladin? Thanks!

While I haven't played the QfG2 remake yet, I don't recall seeing "Trick the Pizza Elemental" on the list of actions that would disqualify you from becoming a Paladin. Those actions were stealing (any kind), killing the griffin and/or using the glasses. So I'd say you are safe.
