Well, I tried again and again. I went into properties and changed it to run in windows me. This time my saves were their. This time so was the bug. Next I went back to properties and kept it in windows me and checked the box next to run in 256 colors, and then checked disable visual themes. The game looked like crape, seriously, it ran slow. Then came the spear throwing again, and...oh god Yesufo climbed out! The bug was beat! After saving my game and doing a victory dance around the room I quit the game changed back to regular color and counted the game and won. Thanks to every one for helping me with this very frustrating problem. You all pointed me in the right direction. Every one here helped. on to the best, Shadows of Darkness.

Great! It would have been very frustrating to get stuck for good because of this bug. Also good to hear that it's possible to overcome it.
