greer27: Hi, I was wondering if that awfully initiation bug is still with us in the version from gog. It was the bug that caused the game to crash during the initiation every time and renders it all unwinnable. I am playing an imported Paladin on windows 7 and have only just started QFG 3 and though I am not near ready I have extremely bad memoirs of this thing. Is the initiation bug back? If so I need to know how to get around it again with help, I am computer illiterate and need detailed instructions. Thanks
I just played through as a Paladin. The conversations with the Laibon are very specific after you dispel the leopardman prisoner.
There are two conversation threads that will alternate before you get the dinosaur horn. You must have gone through the simplest (it only allows you to Greet and you can only ask the Laibon about marriage and the leopardman) and not gone back in until after you get the dinosaur horn.
As for the initiation - no crashing for me playing as a Paladin and running Windows 8.1. I ran the game in a 1024x768 window. It worked fine.
