Mind you, I have experience with DosBOX and my personal copies of old games, but I purchased this on GoG so I'd always be able to play them if something happened to the disks. So I installed the games and ran QFG1VGA and got a black screen with the mouse pointer. So I reset the pc and opened it back up, same thing. I used alt+enter to exit full screen mode and there it was, the game was running fine in the small windowed mode. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it to go to full screen mode, however, even with upping the framerate, as it seems this has nothing to do with it. I run on Windows 7 and I hope someone can give me advice, as I'd LOVE to play this series again.

Without having tried the VGA version of the first one yet, did you try changing the Graphics Mode to OpenGl? If that doesn't work, try the other Graphic Modes as well, either by modifying the .conf directly, or by using the Start Menu shortcut.
