does anybody know how I can get quest for glory 5 to display properly on my tv? I'm trying all these different things in the NVIDIA control panel, and nothing seems to work, the problem is that the top and bottom of the display gets cut off/ extends beyond the boundaries of my tv but the sides go all the way to the edge, I used to have an AMD GPU, and all I had to do with it to fix this issue was simply turn on GPU scaling and that fixed it :(

Sounds like a setting in the TV as opposed to your PC or graphics card. Check the different view modes like 16:9, 4:3, stretch, cinema, etc...
Yea, i already tried that, i also look under the "Adjust desktop size and postion" tab on the Nvidia control pannel and where the dropdown option is that says "perform scaling on" there is no option to for gpu, the only option that is there is "display"

Are you sure? It seems like you're still looking for a graphics card setting rather than a TV setting. From your original description, it sounds like a view mode on the TV itself. When a TV is in "zoom" mode, it does what you're describing --
taking the 4:3 image all the way to the sides and cuts off the top and bottom.

What brand/model TV do you have?
Definitely sounds like TV settings problem. Had this very one at my aunt's house when she used her TV as a display for her computer. Did some manual settings and couldn't get it to work. Luckily it had the auto adjust feature and it worked.

Also, your TV is likely wide-screen and QFG5 is a native 4:3 display, 640x480 maybe? Perhaps change your display to 4:3.
