Did anyone else find this one very mysterious? I thought that the order should be: slim-necked (F); conical (A); round (low A); straight (C); wide-necked (low C). But this didn't work. I found the sequence which worked from a waltkthrough guide which said: wide-necked (low C); conical (A); large (?); straight (C); round (low A). The large vase did not sound a pitch.and the pitch relations for the other vases does not correspond to the chart as far as I can see. No matter, I have got through the door but it is unsatisfying not to have 'got it'

What chart, is there a chart somewhere which is supposed to be a reference? I was with the game up until this point, but I see no clues anywhere. The obvious routes to try: high-to-low and low-to-high don't work. I seem to be left with trial-and-error, which is difficult with 6x5x4x3x2 combinations, even if you assume the vase which starts sitting on the turntable is in the correct spot.

I want some clues, not just an answer from a walkthrough. Why doesn't this puzzle have any clues to help?

EDIT: I missed the clue because I didn't look up enough.
