I click on game to start, but it won't load. I hear backround music but that is all.

I can't get it to load, either. It starts, I hit 'new game', and it just sort of spins on the loading screen. With music, yes.

I'm on a Mac 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5, with an NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M 1GB.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey guys! Quern's loads much faster on an SSD. As long as the game doesn't crash, it should load in if you are patient. If it does crash, please try lowering ingame resolution in the graphic settings.

Also, if you are on a system with an integrated and a dedicated GPU, please check if Quern uses your dedicated one.
You can do this on a mac if you turn off automatic graphic switching in your OS's energy saver options.
On windows: Please go into your Catalyst Control Center or Nvidia Control Panel and look for application settings. Set Quern to always be running on your dedicated GPU.

I have a Mac with an SSD - the game loads TERRIBLY. No matter which settings I choose. I am on 8 GB of RAM so that should be enough; and I'm on MacOS 10.13.
I think the problem is with the GOG Galaxy player so I tried installing the offline download; but that doesn't install at all; i mean: after trying to install itself, the install can nowhere be found and/or throws script errors. Please fix this for Mac customers.
