Edit: Figured it out. GOG includes the mission packs for each game, Steam sells the base game and mission packs separately.

Given how you get the expansion packs, and the music tracks, it's actually much cheaper on GOG.

Quake II also comes on GOG with an addon (the Netpack) that cannot be found at all on Steam.

That why it is cheaper on GOG.

Just as clarification, steam sells you the RIGHT to access the game through THEIR servers. So it's basically rented but the day your internet goes down or steam dissapears so will be all those games you "OWN" .

I would pay double to GOG just for the rights they are giving us back.
