A N64 Map Jam has recently been released for the remaster version of Quake II featuring:

• nine new maps in the N64 theme
• a hub level
• a final boss
• pre-rendered cutscenes

I read the directions and your map pack worked perfectly.
If you are aware of the Quake 2 25th Anniversary Edition map pack and got it to work with the Remaster how did you get it to work?

It doesn't work in the remaster. You need a source port like Yamagi for that one.
