Hello,
On Xubuntu 15.10, I installed the yamagi-quake2 package (5.21), I can run Quake 2 without any issue but on the 1920x1080 resolution the HUD is tiny. There's a cvar to increase it but it doesn't seem to work for me.
I tried:
- in-game console: set gl_hudscale 2 (and 0, 1, 3)
The console doesn't output anything and the HUD doesn't change.
- /usr/lib/yamagi-quake2/baseq2/yq2.cfg
- __support/save/eraser/default.cfg
My addition stays there but doesn't have any effect.
- ~/.yq2/baseq2/config.cfg
The file is overwritten by the game and my line is removed.
I tried boolean values, decimals (0.2, 1.5, 1.9), integers (0, 1, 2, 3, 150, 500), strings (max, large, medium, big, 150%)...
I'm out of ideas. What am I doing wrong?
SOLVED: 5.31 has HUD scaling
