Hi there I saw so many sites that all show you the configuration how to fix this issue.

Here is my own config file including savegames.

I saved this years ago. So if you don´t need the
savegames you can just extract the config file intro the directory you have Quake installed

configfile goes here:
\Quake4\q4base

savegames files go here:

\Quake4\q4base\savegames

The has to be copied into the q4base folder.

You might be asked to overwrite the file. Click YES to overwrite and thats it. Just start the game and DO NOT alter any graphical settings!!!

Thanks for posting this. Not everyone is comfortable, I'm sure, with modifying their ini file and/or writing a new config file like in the other post.

No problem mate.

Maybe they should have set this post "sticky" since it is alot easier instead of altering the config file itself.

But this is not my decision.
