I recently have Quake 4 crashing on me in / after the boss battle in the Hovertank (With the Spidery Mechanoid)

I looked for crash reports but cannot really make sense of the message:

Try disableing multi-core cpu to see if that helps I've had the same problem with crashes on that level and running single core has help me.

My game is also crashing at this location. Happened twice so far, in middle of fighting spider mech. No issues until this point.

Edit: I guess when doing search, it doesn't show replies. I didn't see chowchow's reply, until I posted mine. I will try that.

Edit2: Single core mode resolved my issue.

Same problem,
but i disable Multiple CPU/Core on advanced Options and there were no more crashes.
