Hi,
I can't get Quack 2 to launch in Windows XP 32 Bit Service pack 3.

I have tried every Compatability setting. It does launch on my Windows 10 machine that is 64 bit. Also I used the Windows 10 machine to download the offline installer that I used to install the game onto Windows XP. Does Anyone have a solution?

Also how do I post a picture on forum?

Keeps giving error, Java Script wrong format. using a standard JPEG file.

Probably you cant with GOG version. Try starting game from both quake2.exe and goglauncher.exe. Dont forget to download "gog-patch" (2 missed dll's) from support. Or better - install official 3.20 update. It just rar-exe-archive. And than use quake2.exe.

Fixed it?
I don't think I even were able to install it in Win98. Tried as I had mouse acceleration issues wich turned out to be a bad mousepad....

I have the same issue. I installed from the GOG offline installer also. I first get the prompt screen to select the version of Quake 2 I want to play or mod to apply, then when I click start it just crashes and I get an error. I have the original Quake 2 CD, but it won't install from the CD and I get an error there too :( Will try the patches I guess.
