It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

The launcher starts but when I press run nothing happens (the launcher closes.) Does anyone have the same problem?
No clue, but I always recommend using a newer source port for better compatibility.
Like these:

KM Quake II
Yamagi
Berserker

You still need Quake II, you just install a source port on top of your Quake II installation and then play the game with the updated engine that supports widescreen, etc (a source port is basically a new rendering engine).

Thanks. It would be cool to know if there's a non source port solution though.

I'm on Windows 10 btw.

EDIT: Ok so renaming winmm.dll to _winmm.dll solved it but now of course there's no music. Seems like winmm.dll is not compatible with W10.

EDIT 2: Nevermind. I tried it on Windows 7 (32 bit) and same thing.
