I followed a good guide to help with Quake's music issue. I installed everything correctly, but I have one problem. I can't tell if the music is working. I never played the first Quake before now, and the music on my end is mostly atmospheric sounds such as wind blowing. So, my stupid question is if that's how it's supposed to be. I don't mind it at all, It helps create a dark atmosphere, but I'm just wondering if I installed everything correctly.

http://www.nin.wiki/Quake_Soundtrack lists what tracks play on their respective stages, so that should help you.

Also, depending the sourceport, make sure your audio tracks are named correctly, like track02.ogg, etc

There is no track1 on the Quake Soundtrack.
