hello.. i 'm not able to change the resolution on quake. i play in 640x480... but i want to paly in a better resolution. how can i set it? thanks!

You will need a source port called Quakespasm.

Download here:
http://quakespasm.sourceforge.net/download.htm

Unpack the zip file. Copy these folders from your Quake folder into your new Quakespasm folder:
ID1

If you have game expansions, put them in their own directories, for example :
hipnotic
rogue

Run the quakespasm executable to play quake.

If you want to play the expansions, you will need to install those into their own directories in the quake folder (not ID1) and create batch files to run those instead of the normal game.
