Hey all,

I desided myself to rip the audio in the highest quality possible in a format compatible with the 2 most commenly used source ports for Quake: The Offering.

These are all .wav format.

But they have a sample rate(hz) 44100, 2 channels, 16 bit depth for overall quality.

this is higher quality than the OGG format or MP3 format.

I have tested and checked with both the latest versions of Quakespasm and Darkplaces and by default both source ports will play these music files in their max quality.

here is the url: Google Dirve

Installation Instructions:

Just take each .rar and extract its contents to your Quake: The Offering folder. I prestructured them so they should extract exactly where they ought to go well atleast for Quakespasm.

If you are using Darkplaces youll need to create a folder called sound in your id1/hipnotic/rogue folders then another new folder in the sound folder you just made named cdtracks and thats where you want to extract the .wav files.

I just compared the music files for the vanilla Quake and we get WAV files from Stixsmasters upload while the downloaded zip file from that Steam page includes only Mp3 and OGG versions of the soundtrack.
