The game will auto save at checkpoint and level starts, but im unable to make a new save. I am also unable to save over these autosaves. Is this working as intended or am i just missing how im supposed to save my game?

Hmm. I'm not quite sure how to answer you. I thought I had the savegame issue figured out, but I just loaded a game and it started me back at the beginning of the level instead of where I was.
