Hi.
Since the remastered version came out I've been playing the game on Vulkan but yesterday when I started the game I noticed that some letters in the menu were blurry, in the game the numbers on the hud and in the menu that appears with F1 too, I was checking the graphic options, changing the resolution but nothing solved it until I changed the graphics API from Vulkan to D3D11 and the problem was solved, this seems strange to me since as I said I've always played in Vulkan and this had never happened to me until now.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Does anyone know what causes this problem?
I attach some images of the problem, the first is how it looks in Vulkan, the second with D3D11
UPDATE:
Thanks to ChaosBahamut on Steam I was able to solve the problem
The current nVidia Drivers have a bit of a rendering bug with some Vulkan-using games.
Disabling the DXGI Interop will serve as a nice workaround until nVidia actually fixes this issue. Best way to do that imo is to add Quake 2's Remaster to your Driver Profiles list using nVidia Profile Inspector, then setting Vulkan/OpenGL present method to 0x00000000
