So I just bought the game, and have encountered a pretty crippling issue. I cannot use the mouse to control the camera. I can use the numpad, which works, but is very, very wonky. *edit: just tried my 360 controller again, doesn't respond at all.* so i ask: has anyone else had this issue? I was hoping to avoid using Xpadder or the like, simply because this should just work. even just the mouse.
for reference sake, my system is:
Windows 7 Home Premium x64, 4GB RAM DDR2 800 in Dual Channel, AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+, Nvidia 8600GTS, and Gigabyte GA-M57SLI-S4. Have tried multiple mice: Razer Lachesis, Logitech Wireless (don't know the name), and the xbox 360 with standard drivers. I am at a complete loss as to why it doesn't work. any and all help appreciated!

You don't happen to have all those plugged in at the same time do you? If so try with just one of the mice plugged in.

no, no i do not. i did do a double take to make sure i didn't. thanks anyways. I have uninstalled/reinstalled earlier, but no chance to play yet. I will try later tonight.

I have Win7 x64 home , 4gb ram, Nvidia 9800gt, Gigabyte, Logitech optical mouse no problems. Maybe this will help, it is my Profile Configuration Settings
