Afternoon everyone, I'm just here asking what are some times and beginners advice when you first play Project Zomboid? I plan on buying the game very soon and wanted to know some stuff before hand to help with my first experince not being twenty deaths in a row and then never touching the game again

I really want to love this game, I just need hints on what I need to do to please it. Any popular youtubers or streamers who are good about explaining game mechanics?

Also, silly question but how hard is it to mod on GOG oppose to Steam?
