It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

These instructions should be stickied by now. New players and vets would love to try the new features of Build 42.

Once your game is installed (Galaxy or offline installer):
- right click on Project Zomboid in your library
- under "Manage Installation", click on "Configure Project Zomboid"
- in the Configure Project Zomboid menu, go to the "Beta Channels" section
- click on the dropdown menu there and select "Unstable" (select the latest version)

My current version is 42.0.2 but I'm sure they'll update it frequently.
Also make sure to BACKUP your previous saves because they will likely not work in Build 42 and devs have stated Build 42 updates will likely break previous Build 42 saves.

I don't have the Galaxy client installed. Sadly, I don't see an offline installer in my library when I'm using my browser. Am I missing something?
Unfortunately, the web browser offline installer won't show the Beta files. They seem to only be avaible through the client once you have the game installed using either method of installation.

TLDR: Use Galaxy

Which sadly leaves both Linux users and those who refuse to use launchers out in the cold.
This is still helpful for people who do use Galaxy and are unaware of the beta file accessability for this game.
Sorry to hear you've been left out. I'm not to familiar with Linux. Is there a benefit to using that OS for gaming over Windows?
