As I already mentioned , the current Build 36 is affected [url=https://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php?/topic/21844-reloading-pistol-clip/]by reloading bug.

To test it, start the game with realistic reloading and then try to reload a 9mm cartridge. I would be thankful if someone can confirm this. The bug is claimed to be known with fix released, but it still made it into GOG's 36.

Because the fix this bug manual file changes are required, its impossible to join multiplayer.
Sorry about that.

If someone gets the error, can you go to your PZ folder in ProjectZomboid\media\lua\shared\Reloading and open up the ISReloadAction.lua file with a text editor?

Find the line that says

o.maxTime = reloadManager.reloadWeapon:getReloadTime() * char:getReloadingMod() + panicLevel*30

and comment it out by changing it to

--o.maxTime = reloadManager.reloadWeapon:getReloadTime() * char:getReloadingMod() + panicLevel*30

Then add another line after o.stopOnRun = true that says

o.maxTime = time

Then save the file and start the game again. This should fix the issue.

This is the complete ISReloadAction.lua:

http://pastebin.com/U3yTbVN1

If you play MP, every player of the server has to have the same ISReloadAction.lua file including the server host, otherwise you''ll get the Lua mismatch error.

Thanks a lot NasKoo! Errata is something present in every release of any software (fixed some bugs, added new ones ;) )

Anyway, it would be cool if you'd distribute already modified file somewhat "officially", so MP issue would then not even exist. Or issue a hotpatch (36.4-1).

Thanks, I am going to use your file and recommend everyone to do so.
Is it me or did they make finding an axe virtually impossible? :P

Every time I have been in the new Fire House there has never been an axe.

It's THE FIRE HOUSE! :P They use axes every day!

Lol. Its been same to me. If you play on "Survival" like me, the amount of items is set to "Low"(you can see it via "manual" mode templates), so chance of Axe appearing in the Box or on the Zed is on average 1/300. Its probably as rare as Sledgehammer.

I just tick the "Lucky" trait to boostes this chance. It does not affect chance of being infected or bitten, but having an Axe on you thanks to "Lucky" sure reduces this possibility more than ... say "Tough skin" without axe.

What I also recently found out, is that crowbar, while being as low efficient in damage as a bat, has a very high item HP. Also - the regular hammer is same, and appears much more often than axe.

So in case you still have no axe. grab crowbar or regular hammer. Good luck out there!

The crowbar will get me into gun shops and locked up warehouses, but can I chop wood with it?

I KNOW technically I can chop wood with anything but if it's going to take an hour per tree I'll just learn to weld and make a metal fence. :P

If you can find a saw and hammer, then you can disassemble the crates in the warehouses. This will improve your carpetry skill and there is some chance to get planks, which you can barricade windows and doors with, until you find the axe. :)

I know that one can chop trees with hammer, but never came up the idea to use the crowbar.. should still be better than with bare hands though.
