No matter how much i try, or how many things I do, there's no way to host a game, or to make it work

Your post tells us nothing.
What exactly is the problem? What's your OS or the OS of your server? Where do you host? Are your ports open?
What did you try to fix your problem? What's your game version? What's the version on your server?
Error log? Can you see other servers? Can others see your server? Is it hosted on the same machine?
Did you use any guides to set the server up?
Give us info. The more, the better.
