Hey! I heard build 42 came out in unstable today. I know you can play it on steam in this mode but I wanted to know if anyone knows how to play build 42 unstable on GOG. Thanks!

From what I understand, it's not available on GOG just yet:

"Our GOG friends will get access to Unstable very soon too, we’ve just had a lot on our plate but will try and roll the unstable out to GOG asap."

Hah, I was actually looking this up yesterday, since I grabbed it on sale, having seen some of the new features, only to be bummed it wasn't available on GOG yet. On the plus side, getting some practice in while waiting. :D
Anyone can tell me if unstable versions of games on gog can be downloaded without gog galaxy? You know... as offline installers..

If it is not listed at the download page, like it looks like is not for the windows version, then probably not.
For the Linux version I'm interested in it luckily is (still 41.71 at the moment though) and i fear if MacOS is delayed I'm unfortunately out of luck for getting this until Christmas as well. But I am sure I will check several times a day until its finally arrives. :)

The Windows version should be up on the Unstable branch right now.

I am uploading Linux as we speak and Mac will follow soon after.
FYI I seem to have a pretty game breaking bug that I'm hoping to post to the official forum as well.

On the GOG version specifically, I am unable to open doors. I'm on Windows 11, game build 42.0.1 rev 25246 with no mods on a clean save. When I attempt to open a door, I see the error count tick up, and in the logs I see the following exception info surrounding the door interaction.

Note - this bug does not seem to be present in the Steam version from what I can see.

I'm getting the same bug. GOG, Windows 10, no mods, new game - can't open any doors or windows. Also, I don't know if this information helps diagnose the problem, but I still have the old main menu background image (Zombie Baldspot) rather than the new one I've seen in videos from the Steam version.

Thanks for all the hard work, Indie Stone. You guys are legends. Can't wait to play the new beta.

cant remove pistol magazine, the action is repeat indefinitely
cant drink nor fill bottle
No sound effect when switching lights on/off
No sound effect when ripping cloths

Yep.
Looks like we cant interact with stationary objects.
Like you cant fill gas cans at gas stations in addition to mentioned above.
Vehicles looks like working - you can enter and stuff, tho upon exit i get another "error" on counter.

I have the same issue. I (have to) use the rightclick -> "go here" action to pass through doors.

Regarding vehicles: I seem to be unable to shut off the vehicle after starting it.

Sorry for that annoying bug. I've tested a fix and it works on my end, but please let me know if you are still unable to open doors. Should be up within the hour (42.0.1.1).

First impression after the fix: Now everything seems to work. Doors, chairs, sinks ... Thank you. :)
Now I can go for serious testing. :)
