- game is still a stutterfest, no matter how many fps
- still can't rebind the mouse wheel
- still stuck in endless loop after finishing certain levels (E2M3 in my case)
- input problems still there (https://www.gog.com/forum/project_warlock/input_problems)
- many graphical options still not saving
- still no support for 1600x900 resolution
- still no 'hold to sprint' option

Jesus Christ, what a disappointment. One month wasted waiting for nothing. Literally NONE of the issues I had with this game have been fixed. NONE.

Damn dude. I haven't had any issues. What did you do to your computer?

Smartass, eh?

Game's a stutterfest for you too, because of frame timings. Everybody has this problem, see the many threads about it. This is the game.

You can't rebind the mouse wheel either. Game issue.

Being unable to progress has been an issue for many ever since the game came out, see the threads about it. Game issue.

Input problems are a problem for many, see the threads about it. Game issue.

Graphical options, like CRT curve, aren't saving for you either. Game issue.

You don't have support for 1600x900 either. Game issue.

You don't have a 'hold to sprint' option either. Game issue.

Go ahead pal, tell me how it's my computer.
It's fine for me dude. Enjoying the game over here. I'm just sayin', maybe fix your computer.
It's not his computer, I have the exact same issues.
Hi,

it is really hard to find every single issue on a tight budget, different PC configurations can produce different results. I am really sorry for this. I'll try to do my best in order to fix those issues.

Best Regards
Jakub

different PC configurations can produce different results.
This is simply a lame excuse, pardon my French. Did you even read the thread?

- can't rebind the mouse wheel, this has nothing to do with "different PC configurations"
- issues with frame timings happen for everyone due to how you guys programmed on Unity, these issues have nothing to do with "different PC configurations"
- custom graphical options not saving are an issue with how the options have been implemented with Unity and have nothing to do with "different PC configurations"
- lack of support for 1600x900 has nothing to do with "different PC configurations"
- lack of a 'hold to sprint' option has nothing to do with "different PC configurations"

You guys have made a fantastic and fun game, but are simply quite incompetent when it comes to programming on Unity.

Hi

Please do not forget the fact that I am still learning. Everything you mentioned is being worked on right now and most of the issues should be resolved soon. Apart from working on the game I also have to attend school and my apprenticeship. I am still trying to put in as much time as possible into making this game as it is my passion. I hope to change your mind after a few more patches.

Best Regards,
Jakub
Gotta say, in staying optimistic and patiently waiting for a patch that I know will come -- the utter smugness and entitlement of this topic literally makes me queasy.

The dude has a pretty special game here and the least we can do is be supportive fans because other than that we're literally not helping out.

He's like 19 and has lots on his plate -- and I've no doubt that he both is completely aware of the issues and is doing his best at correcting them. Saying he is incompetent at Unity is not only wrong (I AM incompetent at Unity) but it's insulting too.

I respect the Dev even more now for not coming back at you with the same attitude you've come at them with.

We're on your side Buckshot -- you've made a great game and it'll make waves once it's fixed and hits Steam.

Thank You for making it and I'll be patiently waiting for your patch -- it's a hard damn job.

: )
The OP might be a bit harsh but he's in the right though. It's not really an excuse to say the developer is 19 or he has other stuff to do. The game is in the market and people are paying for it. It's not entitlement to expect the game to actually be playable.
Like the person above me stated, just because the dev is young doesn't necessarily excuse the state the game is in. I personally don't think it should have been released as early as it was - the game felt like it was an obvious beta. That said, it's got a lot of potential buried underneath a TON of roughness and hopefully he'll be able to polish and refine it as the months go by into something that's worth releasing.

I'm rooting for ya, kid. It's not great, but it can be and that's impressive.
I just tested the new update.
It seems true that while there are some improvements, frame rate is still jumpy. Doesn't change the fact much to reduce resolution or graphic options. Something with the timing.

Another thing I used to have a problem (which might be related) is the stuttering of mouse when rotating view. It does seem smoother to me, so I kinda managed to play the game, but there is something laggy about it (maybe they smoothed mouse motion to fix the issue, but the bad timing or performance still a problem). Thanks for that, although it's a mix of good and bad with frame rate issues and input lag (in 4k it's very noticable, but anyway I play in lower res)

It's a shame such a game has still frame rate issues on my PC with GTX1080, and I don't think it's Unity's issue. I have seen smoother games in Unity with heavier graphics. I guess, one can easilly overhaul Unity's performance if they are not very experienced with the engine. Don't want to be disrespectful to the devs though. Maybe I'll give it a try another day or see if there are ways to avoid the issues.
Did you guys try to launch the game in exclusive fullscreen, it helped a lot in my performance issues, but I'm not sure it will fix everything.

Just add -window-mode exclusive in the launch parameters. (works for a lot of unity games)

Unity games are by default in borderless windowed, so v-sync is on by default and it input lags, framerate issues...
I think you are on to something! While the last patch helped a lot I still get frame pacing issues which remind me a lot of the issues I get when playing in borderless window mode.

Although I cannot click on ANYTHING on the main menu when I start the game with your exclusive fullscreen parameter. How did you manage to get past that issue?

Thanks! That might have improved stuff.
Although after long playing something feels off (maybe mouse lag adding or still few frame drops), but it definitelly plays better than before. Maybe I can finish the game this way.
